looking for good international primary school in leon

Can't Post |
Hello,

I will soon be a French expat in or near Leon and am looking for a good international (mix English/Spanish type) of primary school for my 8-year-old daughter who's already bilingual (french-english). And also I would like to know if it is better to live in Leon city or is there a better nicer small town in the area where I can enjoy mexican culture in a safe environment ?

Thanks a lot

(Worried) Corinne

Leon really has no convenient "suburbs" so living in the city will be the best choice. If you really want to drive a lot, you could look in San Francisco del Rincon. I lived in Leon for 3 years (until 3 months ago). I think the best school for your daughter would be Miraflores--it has an excellent reputation. De la Salle may also have a primary school, but I'm not sure. Leon has traffic problems, so try to live as close as possible to where you will work--if you are working. Miraflores is in the north, near Plaza Mayor--generally considered the best area to live (but not the cheapest).
