This site contains news about SMA, including Mexican government doings, updated weekly. The latest issue is a bit short due to the illness of the editor, but it's still worth a look, and keep it on your Favorites list if you're thinking about living here:

We also now have three new magazines, sort of literary journals, half in English, half in Spanish, which are available for free at many stores. When I was in Oaxaca last week I was jealous that they had a literary journal, and lo, when I returned to SMA, there were three of them! Ambitious souls at work!
