dog-friendly motel/hotels in Morelia- HELP!!!

Does anyone know if Hotel Fenix or Posada de Villa accept dogs? I need to line up some possible accomodations for a one-night stay, for two people, a van and a dog in Morelia. So far I found one place in a guidebook but the price was much too high for me. Perhaps there is something in an adjacent town? Please help if you can. If we can't find anything we'll have to skip Michoacan!

The Villa San Jose accepts dogs.

I'm not sure, but less costly properties which might accept dogs may be:

You might try Hotel Vista Bella. I have stayed there in the past. Very comfortable, good food, parking for a van. $60-65. Do not know policy on dogs.
