busing between Patz and Taxco

Can't Post |
does anyone know how the schedules between Patz and Taxco? I believe I have to go via Toluca? But if I can get a hold of the schedules in both directions, I can figure out how many days I'll need in each place before booking my fligh. This all depends on the bus connections (especially due to time of day).
Thanks,

vanyoska

I am fairly sure that you are going to go through Terminal Poniente in DF for the fastest and most frequent service

also there are not many direct busses from Patz to DF - but you might catch the early one - there are frequent busses to morelia and then on to DF

once at Poniente, you can almost certainly catch a frequent bus to Taxco

Thanks for your info. I know all about this via the web sites. But I'm trying to avoid having to taxi between bus stations and going via DF which will increase the time of travel, I'm pretty certain. I ran across some info someplace that spoke of bus connections via Toluca. But I don't know where nor schedules or names of service lines.
Thanks for your help.

I believe you can make it from Patz to Taxco via Toluca in one day

but you will need to start early and not take the express bus (to DF) since it does not stop in Toluca

might not be able to make it in one day (in daylight) if you go through Zitacuaro

Actually, there are buses that go from Taxco to Toluca, by way of Las Grutas, then to Ixtapan de La Sal. It's not necessarily faster, but it's scenic, and a different experience than going to the DF and transferring from Terminal Taxqueña to Terminal Poniente ( a very long, cross-town transfer).
At Toluca you will definitely need to change to a Morelia bus, (two routes, one lengthy via Zitácuaro and Mil Cumbres; and the other, via autopista, somewhat faster.) and from Morelia the last hop to Patz.

Thanks so much for your help. Do you happen to know of the name of the bus companies and/or sites whre I can find out shedules as I'll be on a tight one and am trying to find out when they leave and arrive. I'll probably be going from Patz and onto Taxco.
Thanks again,
