The rag trade in San Miguel de Allende

Does Judith Roberts still have a boutique in San Miguel de Allende? I'd heard from the grapevine that she was closing up shop. Second, where can I find the largest selection of Opus One?

And finally, what is the name (or is it still in business) of an ethnic clothing store about a block east, well maybe two or three blocks, up the hill from the main plaza, which sold Guatemalan clothing?

Yes, Judith Roberts is still in business on Zacateros and my reports are she is doing quite a good business. You need to clarify what you mean by Opus One as that does not ring any bells.

As to Guatemalan clothing, the chain is called Ono, and there are three locations in town that also sell furniture and baby clothes.

I'm thrilled that Judith Roberts is still in business, because her merchandise is absolutely wonderful. Moreover, it never, ever, wears out!

Opus One was a women's designer of mostly cotton clothing, appliqued and not infrequently adorned with milagros. It's shame it's gone, because that stuff never wore out either.

Ono sounds like the store I was thinking of .... decent quality and inexpensive.
