car or bus service from the leon airport? Do you know if you can fly into this airport from GUAD?

Last I heard, American Express has a shuttle service from the Leon airport into SMA for around $27 (each person, one way), and you must arrange it in advance. Otherwise, I hear a taxi is around $60 or so. I don't know about the flights from Guad to Leon.

The last I knew, the best way to get to San Miguel from Leon was by limo service. Flights from the U.S. often arrive pretty late (or conversely, leave pretty early) , so having someone there waiting to pick you up is a wonderful thing, as you can be pretty tired of travelling by that point and you just want to get to San Miguel.

Thelma Rodriguez who owns a B&B in San Miguel can provide the service (her B&B is wonderful too, two blocks from the Jardin) and the price is dependent on how many people are to be picked up and the amount of luggage carried, as there are different vehicles used depending on who and what is to be carried. The driver we had spoke English, and told us about some of the wonders of San Miguel before we got there. It was like having a private tour guide.
