Spanish Language Schools in SMA

Hello,

We have a place in the Yucatan but stopped in SMA on the way north last spring. We enjoyed it and decided to stop there again on our way south this fall. I would like to spend at least a week and take spanish classes while we are there. We travel in our RV and would probably stay at the spot we stayed in last year - it's behind a motel and I don't have the name with me now.

My question is about the different schools. We are intermediate spanish speakers and would probably only take a one week course. I've read about the Hardy school and the Habla Hispana school, right now I'm favoring the Habla Hispana school. Does anyone have any recommendations that they would be willing to pass along?

Thanks,

Jonna & Mimi

I have never heard of the Habla Hispana school, but I have taken classes at both the Instituto de Allende and Warren Hardy and VASTLY prefer Warren Hardy. The only problem with WH, is that only certain classes are offered at certain times and they are in 2-1/2 week segments. He has also developed study aids which are great for independent study if that interests you (they're great for review.) Buena Suerte!

Thank you for the info. I think we will go and see what will fit into our schedule when we arrive. I have also heard good things about both of those schools. I just don't think we will want to stay for so long on this trip so the Hardy school is probably not an option.

Thanks again,
