San Miguel Serendipity

I had to share the website below with each of you, and I have to say, I am totally floored by...everything. I joined Mexico Connect a month ago in order to find out as much information as I could to make our upcoming trip into Mexico by car as easy as possible. I also wanted to discover new places to see, and things to do while there. Yesterday I logged into this forum merely to ask the question, "How many miles is it from San Luis Potosi to San Miguel?" I have been floored by the number of responses I received. There were public messages with all kinds of advice about driving, where to stop, etc, and many private replies that were so detailed and so helpful I was overwhelmed by the generosity of time given by some people to help a novice. The last reply I received was from a woman named Donna who included the website (below) in her reply. It is one of the best and most informative I have ever seen on San Miguel for a new visitor to this charming town. It gives you a true feeling for what you are walking into and how to best stroll all of the paths leading to new experiences once you get there. In one of the myriad links on the website a paragraph began with this sentence: "Sometimes it's hard to explain magic." Well as many who know me realize...I believe in the mystery and essence of magic...in many things. I knew I had discovered a kindred soul. Explore the magic. Click on the link...and all of the links therein. http://www.experience-san-miguel-de-allende.com/index.html ...and by the way, in the website I found the answer to my original question, "How many miles is it from San Luis Potosi to San Miguel?"
