Just ordered some at aladinos.com in GDL. $70 for a can.

Last year I bought a pumkin, went on line for a recipe, and made my own pie filling and put it in a purchased crust. Tasted good.

Seriously? There's no canned pumpkin in Morelia? Did you look? I'm being entirely honest and curious. Costco? Mega? Comercial Mexicana? Superama? Nada?

I think that junk in the can is available year-round here at Lake Chapala. I guess this really is a different world here.

I´m in Zamora and don´t want to make the drive all the way to Morelia and come up empty handed.

It might be helpful to know that all of the Commercial Mexicana Supermarkets have been renamed Mega, and the parent company is now named Comerci, although many Mexicans still call the Mega stores Commercial Mexicana, including many members of my Mexican family.
