Patzcuaro Life

We currently live in Guanajuato. Interested in spending some quality time in Patzcuaro... house-sitting, whatever.

Anybody have info on possibilities, also number of ex-pats who may live in and around Patzcuaro?

Consider joining MoreliaConnect, a mailing list for those who live in Morelia and Patzcuaro. There are a fair number of expats in Patzcuaro who frequent that list. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MoreliaConnect/

The number of expats in Patzcuaro is sort of an elusive figure. Are you counting only those who hail from the US, or would a Swiss guy who's been there about thirty years count? Are you counting those who only live within Patzcuaro proper, or those who live around the lake, too? A fair number only spend a portion of the year in Patzcuaro or are on tourist cards. The long-timers blend into the background and aren't that obvious.

Hi, J.R.:

Will be in Patzcuaro this weekend with wife for Mother's Day. Will be checking email in case there are ex-pats available for eyeball-to-eyeball visit. Have signed up for the group connection.
