Patzcuaro, Hidalgo, Tuxpan: Dog friendly?

Can't Post |
well, Morelia seems to be out of the question, the dog-friendly hotels are too expensive for me.
I'd like to hear from folks who have stayed in Patzcuaro, Hidalgo, or Tuxpan with a dog. We can stay in a motel or a campground. Thanks!

I don't know if she's even still in business, but Quinta Mitzi in Tuxpan would strike me as a dog-friendly place. And I rather doubt that she has a website. The property doesn't have a lot of stars, but it's clean and neat, and the folks who run it are a delight.

Mitzi's still in business and sure is a delight - don't know one way or the other about dogs but I'd guess no problem
