Moving to Morelia

Hola Tutti...
I (a painter & children's book illustrator) & my husband (a jazz drummer)
have recently returned from Morelia....we rented a fabulous house in colonia Vista Bella & are moving there in April from Vermont, USA.
I speak italian & am hopeful that I shall be able to learn spanish (Baden-Powell??) relatively quickly...
Any comments, info....especially on moving STUFF ( We need to move art studio & music studio equipment....we can part w/ couches....dressers etc...) would be HUGELY appreciated!
If you are already there & want to say hey to a new neighbor.....that would be fabulous.
We have an orange tree in our new yard & it's 11 defrees F here, today!
