Morelia to Zihuatanejo highway

I have seen references to a new road (autopista) connecting Morelia to the southern coast. Would someone please give me more details in this regard. In January I will be driving from Queretaro to Morelia and Patzcuaro and then to the southern coast. Where does this new road begin and what is its route, as I would like to plot it on my old ('98) Guia Roji? I'm driving a motorhome and towing a car. I have visited Morelia and Patzcuaro previously. All information will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Dick

If you'll go to this month's issue of Mexico Connect's magazine, featuring Michoacan, http://www.mexconnect.com/.../michoacanindex.html and click on Tony Burton's fantastic interactive map at the right-hand side, you'll find the new highway.

It begins as part of the Morelia-Patzcuaro-Uruapan highway.
