Looking for a countryside resort in Michoacan

Can't Post |
we live in Ajijic and would like to find a resort in the countryside of Michoacan to get away to for a few days. If it has tennis and golf that would be nice, but not necessary.
any recommendations anyone?
thanks

Tennis and golf are going to be very, very hard to find in the Michoacan countryside!
But here are my recommendations for very nice country resorts:
Hacienda Cantalagua http://haciendacantalagua.com/
Hacienda Mariposas http://www.haciendamariposas.com
Hacienda Caracha http://www.mexonline.com/caracha.htm

: Thanks Jennifer
Do you have a favorite of the three?
Actually I did see an advertisement somewhere for a golf course in Michoacan but I forgot to write it down.

There are golf courses (well, one in each) in Morelia and Zacapu (IIRC, it was one where one of the dearly departed Old Guard of Morelia was known to drive over to before Morelia's Club Campestre was built). Better to ask your golf pro -- because you may need to arrange reciprocal club privileges.
Comparing the three resorts is an apples-and-oranges proposition. The swankest, newest and most expensive is Cantalagua, which is owned by the son of Carlos Hank Gonzalez. The homiest is Hacienda Mariposas, owned by the ever-charming Rene Ocana. Hacienda Caracha has an incredible swimming pool, surrounded by lux tropical foliage, and it's the least expensive.
