There's plenty going on during the month of July in Michoacan -- from the Fiestas del Corpus in Comachuen to the Feria de la Pera in Ucareo. http://www.mexico-connect.com/...startup&cal=cal8
BTW, the Feria de la Pera features much, much more than pears. How about some corn cookies, dried fruits, and the most perfect garlic in the world, pickled in vinegar?
