Back in the late 1980s, my wife and I spent a year and a half in San Miguel. We rented a house at Terraplen #21. A man named Juan Martinez was a great help to us any time we needed something done and didn't know where to start. Juan could get firewood delivered, hire a carpenter or brick layer, find places to rent, car parts, etc. He even arranged a meeting with the governor of the state for some friends of ours. He seemed to know everybody in Central Mexico. Is Juan still around? He would probably be around mid-sixties in age. But thats just a guess. He only has one leg and uses a crutch. He could usually be found in the Jardin on the side facing the Parroquia. Speaks English. Wife's name is Lupe. San Miguel natives. I'd just like to know if Juan is still around. Thanks
