Is the Hospital de la Mujer a good hospital?

I have a friend in her mid thirties, poor, in need of medical help. She had cysts removed two differrent times from, I think, her uterus and symptoms are returning. I am encouraging her to see a doctor and get tested, and she is considering the Hospital de la Mujer in Morelia.

The Hospital de la Mujer in Aguascalientes operated on her before, but she tells stories of being turned away from this hospital numerous times after insisiting she had a serious problem, and in the end she was right and the doctors finally figured out that she was very sick and gave her a life saving operation.

Has anyone heard of the Hospital de la Mujer in Morelia and have any idea what quality of medical care it provides?

It's at least as good as IMSS and the ISSSTE hospital. And far better and less costly than the stand-alone clinicas many poor people patronize.

The Hospital de la Mujer in Morelia got off to a great start, slipped a little, and is getting back to a good reputation. It does tend to shuffle patients around, because of the huge numbers the staff must tend to. Getting an appointment there requires time and persistence, as well as a willingness to hurry up and wait.

is she Mexican? Arranda de la Parra in Leon is one of the best hospitals in Mexico but i'm not sure how much it costs...

My husband had his hemorrhoid surgery in that hospital a year ago February. The service was good, it was clean and the price was reasonable at that time.
