I love shopping, I need a good shipper......

We plan to be in Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, and Tequisquiapan in Sept.

Can anyone recommend a reliable shipper that I can trust with my purchases?

Thanks in advance, Dennis

Try Artes de Mexico on Calzada Aurora in San Miguel. San Miguel will be your best bet of the 3 towns.

Dhl has an office in both SMA and Guanajuato. I have used them and they were very good.

Yes. Now owned by Deutsche Post World Net DHL was one of the original air-transportation savvy rapid/customs expedited shipping services which both small and medium sized businesses and consumers could use without individualized contracts. They recently cleared regulatory hurdles to purchase Airborne Express in the US, meaning they're on better terms to compete head to head with FedEx.

You may be shocked and apalled at the shipping costs. My wife wanted me to ship a piece of artwork, but it was going to cost $75 or more. I ended up buying three boxes, cutting and assembling, and taking it home as checked baggage on the airplane. It was a hassle squeezing it into a taxi, it barely fit and I paid extra, and I had to hire a porter at the bus station, but the actual additional cost was less than $20.
