Housing in Morelia

My wife and I will be moving to Morelia in 2009. I have read in a few publications that the availability of real estate in Morelia is not quite as high as some other locations and that the costs run a bit higher. I would expect this to be true of short term vacation rentals, but what about long term rentals and hoses/condos for sale. If someone could provide some insight on this, I would appreciate it.

The sales and rental markets in Morelia are booming. Compared to Guadalajara and Mexico City, sale and rental prices are inexpensive.

Look right here on MexConnect for a three-bedroom, two and a half bath (plus servant's quarters) home for sale in prestigious Santa Maria, high on the hill overlooking Morelia. It's both inexpensive and in an extremely desirable area!
