Health Care

Can't Post | Private Reply
My husband and I, recent retirees, will be visiting Mexico in early 2004 to look for a place to live year round. We are particularly interested in knowing about the quality of health care in various cities. We have read, for example, that health care services are very good in San Miguel de Allende and excellent in Queretaro which is relatively close to SMA. Can anyone tell us about the quality of health care in Morelia?

Thanks in advance for helping us narrow down the places to explore...

I'd characterize the quality of health care in Morelia as very good. The latest addition to the city's health care facilities -- Star Medica http://www.starmedica.com -- has received good reports from those using its services.
