Fact finding visit to Morelia, Guanajuato, San Miguel

Can't Post | Private Reply
Hi all: My plans are shaping up, and I'd like to thank everyone who has answered my postings on both this site and the Morelia-connect one. I expect to be in Morelia, which, from all your postings has come to sound the most attractive possible relocation place for me, on May 25. Although I'd like to stay longer, because of a commitment in Guadalajara, I'll probable only have 5 days to explore each of those places. I already hope to hook up with a few of you, but would welcome the possiblity of meeting anyone in any of those cities just to chat about the pros & cons of living there, types of cultural/social activities, cost of living, good schools for learning Spanish, teaching English (have a doctorate in teaching English as a second language) etc.
Thanks in advance! This website has been a Godsend!

Hi Suzanne,

I'm surprised to find that no one has responded to your post. Perhaps they all did it by Private Message, but I hope they didn't leave you hanging.

I suggest for Morelia you Private Message Jennifer Rose, the moderator of the General Forum. For Guanajuato, search within this forum for Guanajuato and when you find a posting about the city, click on the user name and read the profile. If that looks promising then send a Private Message. The easy way is go to the forum and search for the user name and when you get a posting just click on send private reply.

Five days to explore both Guadalajara and Guanajuato is of the "If it's Tuesday this must be Belgium" type. Five days in each would be more to the point, particularly if you are looking at Morelia as a place to live.

Adiós. jerezano.
