Day of the Dead in Patzcuaro

Hola,

I am planning to be in Patzcuaro for The Day of the Dead celebrations. Can someone give me an idea as to what to expect. Is there a parade... Are there festivals... Do people dress in Costume for the celebrations. I am thinking it is a bit like Carnaval here in Cozumel, am I correct ???

I would appreciate any advice.

Noche de Muertos (Night of the Dead) in Pátzcuaro bears no resemblance whatsoever to Carnaval in Cozumel or any other part of Mexico.
