Damn, it's been hot in Mexico City for so long I feel like I'm living in an oven. No forest fires here, though. Maybe I should do a rain dance to entice Tlaloc to bless us with some rain.

We've had sporadic rain showers and sprinkles in the last two weeks. Usually, I expect the beginning of the true rainy season as the first week of June. Fortunately, our house is cool inside, even without A.C.

I have been in Mexico long enough to listen, I was told not to move here it was to hot, man they is right. I wanted to get away from the mass of gringos in Lake Chapala and the expense. I didn't know that there is only several hundred on the gulf side period. Wanted a few buds to play cards have some cookouts and not get fried but that seems impossible. Any ideas I think in th US we call it cooking, eating, bullshiting and drinking beer I am up to a move right now. don't want to buy, rent 2 or 3 $300, or more, internet and bullshit please advise

Prorader, it is not usually this hot in Mexico. Late May has always been the hottest time of the year, though. Give it a couple of weeks and the rains should start, which will cool things down. Summer is the best time of year; most places in Central Mexico, it's green, lush, and cool.

¡Ojalá! It's about five thousand degrees at Lake Chapala today, but those are degrees Faranheit, which means it's practically chilly compared to where Rolly lives.

The thing that spooks me a little bit is that we've had almost no humidity yet, and it's already the end of May. I thought I remember feeling it build up before the rains arrived, but not much yet except for a couple of random days.

Maybe mañana.

I checked the records and found that today in 14th consecutive day of 100+ temps in Lerdo.
The weatherman says don't get out winter clothes yet.
