Chorros de Varal: whats happening any changes ?

I was at los Chorros de Varal in Los Reyes Michoacan 6 years ago. Have they changed any? parking added? Has the steps been counted correctly? Are there really 1000 or just 993. Are they still open to the public? Is there still water flowing? Are they still clean as they were 6 years ago?
