Camping suggestions around Playa El Faro, Michoacan

I'm thinking about driving down (from Ajijic) to the Michoacan coastal area around El Faro, and would like some info on camping sites there. Have you been? Any tips or suggestions greatly appreciated.

We used to camp at a beach about a half a mile north of El Faro called La Manzanilla,there is a guy there named Francisco who built a rustic bathroom about 50 yards from the beach which he will let you use for a very minimal price,there are also some reasonably priced cabañas at El Faro.
It's been 3 years since were last there.It's a beautiful beach and the seafood's good too.
PS:The water can be pretty rough for swimming.
