Cabins around Lago de Zirahuen?!

Hi,

Does anyone know of any affordable cabins in the Lago de Zirahuen or Patzcuaro areas that are available for vacation rental over the Christmas holidays? Any recommendations/contact information would be greatly appreciated.

You'd better make reservations NOW. Christmas, like Muertos and Semana Santa, is the high season.

Chalet Cerrito Colorado in Zirahuen is owned and operated by the folks who own the Hotel Mansion Iturbe. mansioniturbe@yahoo.com It offers a larger dwelling for a family, and longer rentals are expected.

Another place I recommend, in addition to the Mansion Iturbe, is La Casa Encantada, just a few steps down from the Casa de Once Patios on Dr. Coss in Patzcuaro.
