Ballroom Dancing at Morelia's Plaza de Armas

Starting on Thursday, 6 March, and continuing on the first Thursday of each month, ballroom dancing will be held before a live orchestra at the Plaza de Armas in Morelia's Centro Historico from 5 to 8 p.m. Reviving the traditional dances from the Golden Era of the 40s and 50s -- the mambo, cha cha cha, and probably the tango -- this event is open to the public and sponsored by the departmento de Jubilados y Pensionados, various clubs and organizations, and the city government of Morelia, especially for individuals of the third age.
