A daunting task, Jennifer, to name favorites. In no particular order, here are a few:

Abdón Punzón, Baltazar Vargas Vargas, Casa Felícitas, Manuel Morales, Tomasa from Ocumicho, Vicente Pasalle, Mario López, and so many more...SO many more!

Baltazar Vargas is wonderful! He created a beautiful white-on-white deshilado (drawnwork) blouse for me with roses. He's from San Felipe de los Herreros. (If anyone wants the phone number in his one-telephone town, let me know, because it's posted on my refrigerator.)

Esperanza, would you be so kind as to describe the kind of work that each does and his town for others who aren't as familiar with Michoacan? Even contact information if you've got it could be very helpful for others.
