Are There Affordable Rentals in SMA?

I need to spend a couple weeks in SMA and don't want to make the drive back and forth to my house (i'm pretty close but prefer to just stay in town). Are there affordable rental locations other than all those fancy casa this and casa that in SMA? I have stayed at many of those fancy locales ... but I just need to be in town for some art classes and not looking to be pampered. I just need a fairly clean place near downtown .. with running hot water and a bed ... and I have a small dog. Thanks!
