World news, travel, languages, different cultures, discussions with erudites (I usually can hold my own ;-), libraries and good bookstores with book cafes, ADVENTURE, DISCOVERIES, car travel, water activities, particularly snorkeling. I also love nature, a view of water, a swim in a clear lake or a canoe trip, a walk in the woods, four seasons with color changes, but in a mild climate. I hate shopping, idle gossip, and routine bores me to tears.
