I am very surprised at Telmex.

I received a new wireless/computer connection type modem hand delivered by a courier. Telmex said (in a call the previous week) that since I have had trouble with my modem/computer connection in the past that it probably would work better for me. Cost Nada (normally $1000 pesos), as I have paid my bill for over tow years on time and they are happy with me. Interesting. They keep records of things I guess. One for Telmex!

Yes! I am now happy with them.

I had waited eight months for a phone line in Vista del Lago near San Nicolas de Ibarra, Lake Chapala. They finally showed up one day. Installed a single line and wanted a propina for coming inside the house and connecting the right wires so that the outlet worked. I still have to call my electrista to connect the other lines. I gave the telmex guys $100 pesos and 2 cervesas Modelo. I probably got off cheap.
