Just in under the wire for official hurricane season, "Paul" didn't pack quite as much of a punch as we expected but he was a menace just the same. Mazatlan had a brief but fierce rainfall and the usual knee deep water due to poor drainage systems in some areas. (On the plus side, streets are remarkably clean today!)

A sad story out of Cabo as a result of the storm, and this is where it hits home that the ocean is a mighty force. Condolences to the family members of this tourist lost to a rogue wave.
