The problem seems to be for those of us using Internet Explorer 7 beta. When I tried to view the site earlier today, I had the same problem that Sparks had. All the words were in a single column. To read the articles would have taken an hour or so of scrolling. I fired up Firefox and was able to read it OK. I have chosen to use my Internet Explorer homepage when using Firefox. It appears to revert to Internet Explorer 6; it does not have the changed interface of IE 7 with the larger viewing area on the monitor. I found the articles to be very accurate, they were written by a PE. I spent 47 years working in the construction industry. It takes a lot of education to work as a skilled tradesman of any kind in that industry. It is not a place for dummies. After going to school for 4 or often 5 years to become a journeyman, you will spend the rest of your working life attending seminars and training classes to remain current with the latest developments in order to maintain your personal licenses. You must have a good knowledge of the applicable laws of physics. Now that it is supposed to be fixed, I tried viewing the site again using IE7. I get the sign up page for Mexconnect, so I can pay for a membership and view all articles. I’m signed in and I’m already a Mexconnect member and have been since registration was first required in late 2001 or early 2002. Computers like to play with our brains sometimes.
