Anyone out there living in LaPaz?

Hola, Is there anyone out there living in LaPaz who might share information on cost of living , real estate, shopping, etc. We are curious about it since learning Money Magazine and The New york Times have designated LaPaz as the new Hot Spot for retirement. We are currently living in Mazatlan and we are thinking of taking a trip there to look around , in case Mazatlan becomes over developed sometime soon. Thanks , Depue1

Hi, I recently bought a home in La Paz and plan to move there in 2007. Can't tell you how it compares to Mazatlan, but I can try to answer specific questions. Since you're so close, I'd definitely suggest a trip there to see for yourselves.
