¡Hola, amigos costeños!
Good to be home, even though seeing family is the most important part of my trips North. Anyway after nearly 22 hours of travel, we made it to Xalapa, forgetting that last night was El Grito and the buses were jammed packed with travelers. My 85 year-old suegra, Luisita, traveled like the real veteran that she is, even though we were stuck on the AU second class bus from Puebla to Perote, and again on to Xalapa after having left Spokane, WA at 4 AM and arriving here at nearly 3 AM.
Well, anyway I had a XV años at 11AM today and thought I would include some pictures of the Capilla Las Animas and one of the quiañera with her family.
