What "American" stores are in the Guadalajara area? Sears? JCPenny? Sam's Club? Home Depot? Lowes? Target? Does anyone know if gift cards given in the US are redeemable in Mexico? Thanks!

There are many Walmarts, Costco, Sams, Sears, Home Depot, and food chains Burger King, KFC, Mc Donalds, Outback, Applebees', Pizza___?, Dominoes. To the best of my knowledge none honor NOB gift cards. All are mexican owned and seem to have no ties with the NOB corporate structure other than product and building design.

You may be stretching it a bit to say that there are few corporate connections between some of the US corporate retailers and their Mx counterparts. Costco accepts membership cards from NOB and certainly WalMart and Home Depot are marching to the same management plan as NOB. MaDonalds and Burger King do not establish outlets anywhere in the world without control over everything. Indeed some say the prices are identicle on obth sides of the border. Sears is a different story with no connection other than the name as I understand it.
