GPS on a Laptop

There's a thread down below re Streets & Trips GPS program. I'm starting a different thread because Rolly put a very good link in there that helped me a lot and is deserving of it's own thread, especially for those of us that use a Laptop for GPS displays. I use Garmin's NRoute and City Select North America...this only has the major MX routes. Garmin doesn't have a City Select for MX that will work on a laptop (I wrote them and asked...the Sd card version can't be moved to a laptop they told me).

Rolly's link (http://www.travelbygps.com/maps/mexico.php) ... includes this site http://www.bicimapas.com.mx/Mexico_Atlas_GPS_En.htm. The Atlas program appears to be very good even if it will not do autorouting. Plus, the owner(?) of Bci is great at responding by email.) A review of the program is here http://www.gpsinformation.org/...cruise/cruise-a.html

Offered for use of others that love the utility of GPS navigation. Steve
