what's the best/chapest way to phone USA or long distance in Mex?

Can't Post |
Appreciate some clues on how to most cheaply phone USA. I have an MCI card, but maybe there's better options? I've heard you can dial into an 800 # in USA as a cheap way to go? If so, how? And ideas on cheapest way to phone city-to-city (guanajuato to Morelia, etc.) in Mex? Thanks for suggestions!!! -Joe

Not sure if it's the best way but I use a local internet cafe and a high speed connection. You set up an account with www.dialpad.com and the cost is very cheap. Of course it's via internet so your end sounds perfect but the other end will have that echo sound. It's very cheap, during peak hours as an example a 8 minute call cost me much less than .50 The other point is if you have the yahoo chat thing and your recipient does as well you can talk no cost.

The best quality connection for the price is a call back set up. I used it for business type calls. Paid .23 cents per minute including tax.. For casual talk, I used Yahoo messenger. Free is a great price. Just bought a mic for $10 and that was it. <p>: Not sure if it's the best way but I use a local internet cafe and a high speed connection. I thought he was asking about calling from Mexico to the US.
Are you saying yours works also in Mexico?

I am now in Mexico and I would be very interested to know if yours works this way as I call Canada on a regular basis and would seriously like to know what this plan can do for me.

Also please provide a website URL for Primus so that we may all have a look.

I am sure most of the Canadians here would be very interested in your experiences with Primus.

Please elaborate.
