A few subscribers have kind of been following our ongoing construction. I'm attaching some recent photos.

Really beautiful Judy! The tile work is gorgeous and you have real overhead kitchen cabinets... and bathroom cabinets. You guys have done a great job!

We had a "professional" install the first tile and it looked lovely, but had some low places. Since then our bricklayer has laid the tile in all the rooms and has done a great job. We had the same experience with the plaster. We are indeed fortunate to have such a experienced and competent bricklayer.

When we moved to Mexico we brought all the kitchen cabinets with us. We bought the set of bathroom cabinets from a cabinet maker in K.C. They were custom-made, but then not delivered for some reason so we bought them reasonably. I stained and varnished those.

Now we're in the process of bringing back a couple of unfinished cabinets each time we go to the States for the laundryroom.

It's been a long time since we've given you any updates on our construction. Our living room sat in an unfinished state for a long time, due to a various reasons. We still need glass in the upper windows, but finally got the sheet rock on the cathedral ceiling, knock-down plaster on the walls, walls painted and the tile laid (the biggest job). We left the entrance ceiling “rustico”. Believe it or not, it was I who climbed up on the scaffolding to give that ceiling two coats of sealer and painted the “vigetes.”
