First of all, Congrats to the founders of Mexconnect. It took me 2 minutes to sign up. We are a family of 5: our two boys are staying in Canada to continue their studies - our 14 yr old daughter is coming with us. We are moving to GDL long term in December. This is where we need help. First of all we are looking for a suite or something that we can rent for a month while we try to find a house. We are looking in the Zapopan area. We will arrive by van around Dec 7th. Anybody have any suggestions? I've enjoyed learning from the General forums - interesting characters you all are!

I know of 2 short term executive housing options that are near Centro Magno, a third that near the UAG (which meets your Zapopan criteria) and a 4th which is I think in Providencia. I don't have any phone numbers or web addresses. Send me a PM if you like with more details later next week I'll see if I can get you more info right now I'm a bit busy. I assume you want furnished with kitchen at least 2 bedrooms for the short term.

You might want to check the listings in the paper (link below) sometimes they advertise in English.
