Library Misinformation on the Internet -elsewhere

Can't Post | Private Reply
I have recently been told that there is info about the Mazatlan Reading Library on the internet (not here on Mexconnect) which is outdated and, more important, very misleading. The Library used to have a relationship with an organization in Tucson called Borderlinks, where donors could drop books and the Library would pick them up. This is no longer true! I am trying now to deal with a donation of books dropped at their organization. I am trying to find someone to pick them up for us. The donors are upset, and I do not blame them, that we do not have a plan. I am working on this, but meanwhile PLEASE do not drop any books at Borderlinks! Thank you, Dee

A P.S. to my previous comment- There is one box of books in Tucson and I still am seeking a way to get it to Mazatlan. They are at a place called Borderlinks which is located at 620 S 6th Av in Tucson. If you are driving through Tucson or coming through there, the Library sure could use your help now! Send a private reply and I will give you more info.
BTW, the Library now is open 9-5, Monday through Friday and 10-2 on Saturday. Come in next week for our Fall Book Clearance, good books in English for $5 pesos each! We also have tickets for the upcoming Stars of Tomorrow scholarship benefit for music and dance students, to be held at the Angela Peralta on November 27. More about that tomorrow when I have all the details.
See you, Dee
