" Library News- Winter Hours, Book Clearance Sale "

Next week, beginning Tuesday, November 1, the Mazatlan Reading Library will begin operating on Winter hours. From November 1 through April 30 we will be open from 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 10-2.

Our Fall Book Clearance Sale will be held from Monday, November 7 through Friday, November 11. All Clearance books $5 pesos. Get there early for the best selection.

In case you haven't visited yet, we are a membership library with about 7,000 books in English and a small collection in Spanish. GOOD books, that is! We are located at Sixto Osuna 115, just a half block east of the Malecon in Olas Altas and across the street from the Museo de Arte. Fiction, Biography, History, Travel, Cookbooks, Science, and much more. We have a small room dedicated to books related to Mexico (fiction, travel, culture, history, etc). Membership fees are very reasonable. When you are in town, drop in to say hello and look around. Most first-time visitors are astonished at the depth of our collection! For additional information, email me at mazlibrary@mexconnect.com And if you are interested in volunteering 4 hours a week, hey talk to us!

See you soon, Dee
