Spanish Ajijic and other classes

OK, sorry to be asking so many questions lately but I promise that this is the last one (for today!).

I've asked before about Spanish classes and was given a name. No response to my e-mail. At any rate, looked in the papers, etc, and pulled up Spanish Ajijic. I'm very interested in their one-on-one classes and getting hubby in the intensive classes. We were all set to go when he spoke w/one of our neighbors and got scared off (he was told that it was run almost like a kindergarden--singing and, honest-to-God, naps!). Have any of you taken this class? Was it really like that? How about the one-on-one? We both feel really strongly that we should be able to learn the local language. I'm ok (rusty but serviceable) but hubby is frustrated by the limitations that he encounters because he can't speak Spanish. We're really keen to get started ASAP. If there is a better course or instructor that any of you have had personally experienced, please let us know.

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

P.S. And many thanks to those of you that responded to my posting about a maid.
