My Palm is Dead

Can't Post | Private Reply
I foolishly went out walking in the rain in Pátzcuaro last week, with my Palm Tungsten E in my shirt pocket. When I returned to our hotel, the Palm was unresponsive.

I tried resetting it, and recharging it, to no avail.
While this is by no means my most valued digital tool, I'd like for it to work. The Contacts list is sooo handy.

What I'm wondering is if any of you know of a place in or near Morelia that can check this out, and perhaps repair it.
It is not under warranty, nor is it registered. Any repairs would have to be considerably less than the purchase price of US $200, to be worthwhile.

I did check the Palm Mexico website, and couldn't find any resellers in our area. Yes, there are "retailers", whatever the distinction, such as Wal Mart and CostCo.

Saludos,
