A pleasant bureaucratic experience in Mexico?

Drivers license in Querétaro? After sniveling and whinning in a private post to other mexconnect members, complaining about having to renew my Mexican DL (I drive Mexican-plated car) in Querétaro, I have been pleasantly surprised. Expats dread anything having to do with Mexican bureaucracy, but this was a breeze. Huge, highly organized, and efficient tránsito office? Helpful uniformed (look like airline stewardesses) employees? Everything to do with a vehicle located in one office? I was in and out in less than 30 minutes on a Monday morning after a long weekend holiday. This does not happen in Mexico State, folks. Application, written test, medical & eye test, fees and picture and bingo, a license in record time. In Mexico? Wow. Bear
