We are also trying to get some real estate info. and this info. from Jim was helpfule.
However, none of these places respond back to my E-mails.
Just wondering if you were able to contact them??

Actually the info was for my boss, and I am not sure if he has heard from anyone, but, knowing him, he probably called them direct. You might try a phone call if e-mail isn't working out.

Hola, "un poco tarde", but I just saw your September post, along with a reply this date. I have made three trips to that area from July, 2003 to March, 2005. Here is some info on point. From www.playamaniac.com, I got the following: RE/MAX broker with office in Cancun and Tulum, R.J. Thoman, Texas number, rings in Cancun, 972-499-4000.(year old post). Or in Cancun, 998-883-3033. Also, a good site for that area is www.akumalrealestate.com.
Tried twice to get the type of info that you are seeking from Puerto Aventuras broker with three websites, and received no reply. Not unusual for Mexico, though I love it and am dedicated "aficionado". Both Tulum and Xelha are not far from Akumal, but imagine the Akumal realtor would be well versed on the first two.
