Mazatlan seems to fit all our requirements and am planning a visit soon.I am a retired minister and funds are limited. Would appreciate any hints on when to visit and where to stay. It will be for one month. Larry

Winter? Summer? We have some relatively quiet times and some not so quiet times in Mazatlan, as far as finding reasonably priced rental accommodations. September is probably the quietest month as far as visitors but it is really humid during this time. November signals the end of the intense humidity and of course the arrival of the throngs of winter visitors. If you were thinking of the spring time, the snowbirds start to pack up in April and head north to their summer homes leaving some vacancies behind. It is lovely in April and May, and starts to get more humid in June generally.
