Construction Costs

I searched this branch for costs per square meter for new construction and came up with a figure of MX$3770 to MX$4000 per square meter. If new construction costs MX$3770 to MX$4000 per square meter, what figure could be used to estimate the value of a 12 year old house of the same quality? Also, If new construction costs for a house are as stated above, about what figure could be used to estimate the cost of an extensive patio area surrounding the house on three sides, made of of terracotta tiles, including an 8 foot high wall of brick, covered with mortar, surrounding the patio on those three sides?

Trying to put a number on price per square meter is, in my opinion, way out of line. You can't do it. There are so many variables, it is impossible to nail down anything that is close to the truth. Forget it.

If you want a price on your patio, a price that works in YOUR area, get bids from two or three people. Then you'll know. Other than that, don't believe anything you read or hear.

Let us know what you come up with so we'll have an idea about YOUR area of Mexico.

I might add that the price of materials is rising every month. The price of energy is rising. The mano de obra is pretty much supply and demand.
