A girlfriend of a friend of mine, took off with my friends sattelite receiver but he was left with the LNB and the dish. What can he do to get it cooking once again?

He just needs to sign up for an account, get a new receiver either from them or elsewhere, put the card in that you get with the account and that's it. Oh, if the original account was in his name, then he should have them cancel the old card and send him a new one. Let her get her own account.

If there was justice in this world he'd be able to point the dish at, oh I don't know, maybe "The Great Moments In Football History" satellite, and make her watch nothing repeats about Joe Namath and the New York Jets.

And all the commercials for Viagra and "Dogs playing Poker" paintings that go with it.

I bet he'd get the receiver back right quick.

I don't know, there are probably women who would enjoy endless reruns of Broadway Joe. How about the Poker Channel along with those male enhancement infomercials.

There is one that mainly has poker and other gambling tourneys. It's on satellite and probably cable. Every time I've passed by it there was some kind of World Series of Poker going on. Ranks right up there with watching golf or baseball for me.
