And the purpose of posting this picture was what exactly? The whole critter situation here is getting out of hand. I was kind of enjoying those really huge spiders we get, until I see one on the kitchen counter, clutching something under it's belly. I'm thinking it's a five peso coin, that in addition to the kleptoparasite Magnificent Frigatebirds (which are really huge too) we have huge spiders running around through a person's stuff looking for money. I flip it over, and it turns out it's an egg sac! And it must've thought I was going to kill it, cause right then and there, on my kitchen counter, out pour what couldn't have been no less than a thousand little baby spiders, all scooting for their own little nook and cranny in my kitchen... within fifteen seconds they were all gone. So basically, next year I'm going to have hundreds of these things running around in my apartment. At least I was wrong about it stealing my money. But still. Do scorpions eat spiders? I don't think anything else here will. The spiders seem to be at the top of the food chain. The geckoes are afraid of them, and the iguanas are too lazy to be bothered. To boldly go where no wig has gone before.
